What I liked
From the moment my husband arrived at North Tees A&E and was swiftly transferred to the stroke unit he was treated with great care. The doctors listened to him and the nursing staff and HCA's were attentive.
He even liked the food! Compliments to catering staff.
What could be improved
A long wait for medicines from Pharmacy. Why can't medicines be ordered and ready in time for patient's dischage?
Anything else?
On discharge and after suffering a further stroke, I took my husband to A&E Hartlepool. He waited far too long to be seen even by a nurse. The nurse was kind but rather clumsy in the job. The doctor he saw was excellent.
