"I was treated in a most welcome ..."

About: Edith Cavell Hospital

What I liked

I was treated in a most welcome friendly and personal manner and thoroughly reassurred and fully informed. It was a pleasure to be interviewed, which takes some doing in the circumstances.

What could be improved

My nurse was most efficient but lacked clerical support. She herself later made copies of documents, that were not immediately available and that I needed and personally posted them to me. Perhaps this is standard practice but front line staff do need admin back up.

Anything else?

I was most satisfied with the way things went for me and am a little afraid to express this too strongly in case it is taken as evidence that it was too good and therefore a target for "savings". My nurse was obviously happy in her job and did it well, and hope that this is not frustrated by additional burdens and scimping.
