What could be improved

All i can say about this is there were not enough staff to cope with the patients on the swaledale ward, the bell had to be rang many times by all patients on the four bedded ward too many times as we were left alone without being checked on or asked if we were ok ,the nurses were under pressure and it showed on one occation a nurse came into the ward and was annoyed at someone for ringing the bell saying whos ringing whoes ringing in an angry tone, the auxillary nurses tried so hard and were helpfull. The pain relief could have being so much better through the night as i was in agony and rang the bell only to get two paracetamol which was useless so all in all thank you for the surgery great team but please more nurses

I am sorry that you found levels of nurse staffing. We always, of course, expect our staff to be polite and courteous to patients and visitors.
