What I liked

I was treated on the day case unit earlier this week and i was very nervous about having my operation. The nurses,doctors and the porters were all fantastic. Just want to say thank you so much. The only problem that i had is that i was told in the recovery area what they had found during my op but i was very sleepy and i didn't take it in what i was told so when my husband came to fetch me he had to ask what was found. i still am not sure what it was.

Thank you for your kind comments which have been forwarded to the department leader in the Day Case Unit. Staff are always grateful when patients take the time to let us know about their experience.

With regards to you not being fully aware of the outcome of your surgery, you can either speak to your GP, contact your consultants secretary or speak to your consultant at your post-operative check up appointment if you have one (not all patients do). You can also call our Patient Advice Service on 01623 672222 who will be happy to help.
