"The staff were very polite, kind ..."

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

What I liked

The staff were very polite, kind and attentive.

What could be improved

Before my treatment I was oblivious that my appointment had been brought forward. I was only informed of this 4 days before surgery by a confirmation letter, but no-one had called me to check if it was okay to change this, and if I was able to attend. Luckily I was able.

I was quite shocked after my surgery to be immediately given a cup of water with a straw to drink. As I'd previously researched the correct aftercare of wisdom teeth surgery and the use of drinking straws is strongly advised against as it can cause dry sockets! Perhaps someone should look into this.
