What I liked

I popped in with a very swollen & painful leg one morning. I was seen by senior nurse, then consultant and leg scanned and diagnosed within couple of hours......No lengthy waiting for appointments, letters etc which seems to be the norm in the NHS.

Staff were very friendly & efficient.

What could be improved

It would be nit picking to look for any improvements

The telling point in the SPEED at which a process can happen at Kidderminster Hospital.

To have gone to my GP would have involved a 1 or 2 day wait for an appointment.

Then wait for a letter from the General hospital for scan date

Then wait for the scan itself, probably a few weeks in advance

Then a few days wait for results

Then wait for GP appointment to review

Lapsed time probably 4 weeks plus stressful waiting

All achieved in couple of hours at Kidderminster
