What I liked

The staff who brought my husband into A&E were excellent; evry friendly and put him at ease after he came off his bicycle. The treatment was quick (sent out of A&E into the Minor Injuries Unit) and he had an x-ray quickly.

What could be improved

However, once they knew which bone was broken no one would/could give any advice on how to care for him once we got home. We had to wait for an appointment at the fracture clinic 1 week later for any advice. I emailed nhsdirect but they said they did not give 'advice'?!

Anything else?

Overall a good experience.
