What I liked

All staff treated me fantastic. The care was exceptional. Sometimes above and beyond the call of duty. This would be my choice if NHS or Private. This applied to both ward 16 and ward 19. As I was on ward 19 twice and for longer I feel the staff there are something to be very proud of.

What could be improved

The immediate time following the surgeon telling me I could go home seemed very disjointed with no feedback as to when I could arrange transporta and actually leave hospital. This is a stressful time and when you are told you can go home I feel better communication would make it a far less stressful. I apprectaite that wards are busy but an approximate time so you know when to eat and arrange collection would be very helpful. If this was improved I feel you would get far more positive feedback, rather than the last day spoiling the whole experience.
