What I liked
The bedside manner of all the team in the delivery suite - professional and friendly at all times.
Explained procedures and aspects of care very well which made me feel part of the process.
I was never made to feel a burden or a pain in the neck.
They followed my birthing plan and respected my wishes as a patient and mother.
The midwives are a credit to the hospital.
What could be improved
Nothing to do with the care -however, the rooms could be a little bigger. Mind you when you are in labour it is not the first thing you think about.
Anything else?
It has not put me off having another child at the hospital. The care I received at the L and D was terrific and would certainly recommend the Maternity Unit to others.
Any upgrade to the Maternity Unit would be well deserved.
