"My mother was transferred to this ..."

What I liked

My mother was transferred to this hospital from James Cook and passed away in Aug 09. My daughter and I came over from Ireland to arrange the funeral and to collect her belongings. We attended the hospital and the staff were warm, helpful and extremely caring - both in person and at arms length as they had been when I phoned to enquire on my mum's condition. The staff clearly knew the meaning of dignity and there was a lovely sense of calmness in the place. I would like to say 'many thanks to all the staff' for your professionalism'.

Anything else?

I understand that Stead is moving location. I am not sure if this has happened yet as I would not like to see it move from the original site.
