"Good communication between staff ..."

About: Princess Of Wales Hospital

What I liked

Good communication between staff and myself about the possible condition.

What could be improved

Hospital is in desperate need of a fracture clinic. The distance to travel to a hospital that does, is a huge ask for a lot of local residents.

Thank you for your kind comments about the communication with staff at the Princess of Wales Hospital. We’ll make sure this is fedback to staff. You may be interested to know that it is a priority for local NHS partners to shift clinically appropriate services from major acute hospitals into community based facilities. For example we have worked with NHS Cambridgeshire and Addenbrooke’s Hospital to shift diabetes services into the community for East Cambridgeshire and Fenland residents. Whilst there are no specific plans yet for a fracture clinic, you may wish to keep an eye on NHS Cambridgeshire’s website for any future public consultations on service developments.
