Just a few words following my appendix removal operation at Leighton Hospital just before Christmas 2007.

The staff were extremely pleasant and do a great job under quite challenging circumstances.

I was admitted to the medical assessment unit at 1pm and after examinations by three different doctors I was in theatre by 5pm.

The ward environment was very clean and housekeeping staff worked hard through the day to ensure cleanliness.
