What I liked

Since being refurbished the fabric of the building is light and airy though showing signs in the side-rooms of needing a face-lift

What could be improved

Some aspects of patient care are being done without thought or interest, and in some cases the staff spend more time chatting to each other than the patients. I really don't want to know who's buying what in Home Bargains when my mother needs attention

Anything else?

Geriatric nursing is not a substitute for shelf-filling at the local supermarket. Done well it is very satisfying for both patient and nurse. Done indifferently it leads to comments like these.
