"Fantastic and efficient service"

Having never luckily never needed to use the services before of Louth hospital, I've become somewhat of a frequent visitor in the last couple of weeks due to injury.

I have had to visit on four different days now for different departments and appointments and on all four days the hospital has been clean, and all staff I've had contact with have been polite and very helpful. The departments I have had to visit include urgent care, x-ray, fracture clinic and physiotherapy. The time scales for waiting at all departments have been fantastic, with both of my urgent care visits being well under two hours from entry to leaving. X-ray has been done and dusted within half an hour on two occasions, and the fracture clinic and physiotherapy were running on time on my visits.

The information given has been very clear from all departments about what to do concerning my injury, what will happen next, and what to do if I require further help. They also work together very well within the hospital, in terms of getting information from other departments, and referrals.

When you're given a referral letter saying urgent from one department, and the next department books you in for the next day (thanks to a cancellation, but still impressive), you can't say better than that really.

I have a clear plan from everyone who has been involved on what I'm doing now, what appointments I will have, who to contact if things go wrong, and future treatment options. More than happy to recommend Louth hospital to other people, and also glad that they are able to take care of my needs so quickly without travelling.
