What I liked

My appointments were on time.

My questions answered clearly and helpfully.

Nice feeling of helpfulness and team spirit about the place.

What could be improved

Had my appointments been late, some magazines to read would have been nice.

I have to attend Loughborough Hospital about once every 9 months because I have problems with pressure in my eyes.

In the past, although I'm actually only being actually examined for a few minutes, the whole process usually takes up a whole morning or afternoon with much waiting in corridors.

This morning (26/01/10) my first appointment was at 8.50 a.m. and I was completely finished by 9.15 a.m.!

All the staff were pleasant and helpful (the visual fields lady explaining to me the slight changes to the equipment since my last visit) and particular mention to Dr Koumas who was bright, cheerful and clear in his explantions (i.e. putting my current readings in context with previous readings).

The whole experience was much better.
