"5* Great service and nice and helpful staff"

About: St Bartholomew's Hospital

I got referral from GP for x-ray for my sprained ankle for possible minor breakage.

At first GP said to go to A&E for x-ray, but at the A&E the nurse said the waiting time could be upto 3h (if not longer) so they suggested I try and go to minor injuries unit.

Went to minor injuries unit in morning, it was quiet, got checked straight away, x-ray done, nurses were lovely, all was done, no broken bones and was out within an hour.

The staff were very nice and helpful, definitely worth a visit for minor injuries rather than going to A&E. I wasn't aware there was such unit available, but now I know and if I have any minor injuries in future I'll be going that unit than to overcrowded A&Es
