"Experience of day surgery Monday 24 th April"

I am writing to say what a professional and positive experience I had when underwent a minor procedure in day surgery on 24th April. From my initial reception through to discharge, a total of only about 5/6 hours, everyone I met was friendly and approachable. I was a little apprehensive but very reassured by the support of all the staff. The nursing team were excellent, I felt in very good hands with the anaesthetist and the consultant surgeon spoke with their patients both before and after our procedures which I thought was both considerate but showed an interest in our wellbeing.

On discharge I was given clear information, both written and verbal, about what to expect over the next few weeks and can happily say that all seems to be doing well.
