Last Sunday morning whilst in a hurry I caught 2 of my fingers in my car door. Not clever and very very painful. I strapped my fingers together as the bruising was coming out. Took some painkillers and took it easy the rest of the day. I was told by my parents that I should pop up to Chard Hospital on Monday morning as they carried out X-rays on that day to see if I had broken either or both of them.This I decided to do. From being met at reception to leaving the outpatients an hour later , I had been seen ,had been given an

X-ray and the injured digits dressed. A big thank you to you all and saving me a trip to A and E in Taunton , not that I could have driven there in the circumstances.

Chard people need to know what a great asset they have on there doorstep in having a minor injuries department here in the town.
