I broke my wrist about 7 weeks ago now and it was a Sunday. So I am a mum of two and thought we best leave the kids at home as we were not sure how long we would be.
We arrived at Dr Gray's, Elgin and there were a few people sitting in A&E and an ambulance outside, which had just arrived. I reported to reception and was greeted very nicely. I thought oh oh we are in for the long haul. Well to my surprise we were not waiting too long. I was seen by a nurse, sent to X-ray, brought back to where I needed to be, given my results then had a cast fitted. All this within an hour and a half and that includes waiting time. I could not fault the service I received, which was with care and attention.
On my return visit for my follow up appointment to have my arm checked and another cast fitted, well this service was just amazing. A very efficient team behind Dr Smart. I was ushered to wherever I needed to be and given the attention required. I have every faith in the NHS and felt that I needed to put my view across as it is very rare you hear a positive story about the NHS
