"Birth of my daughter"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as the patient),

I gave birth to my second baby in the Midwives Unit. the care I received was excellent and I cannot thank the midwives Carol and Natasha enough. Natasha was really helpful when we came into the hospital early and reassured us by checking on my daughters heartbeat to make sure everything was OK. When we returned a few hours later everything happened so quickly but these two midwives were so reassuring and helpful. Everyone that helped us after the birth was lovely as well.

Dear 1473211245

Huge congratulations on the birth of your daughter and thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback when you must be so busy. It can be quite frightening when your labour progresses very quickly and I am very glad to hear that Carol and Natasha were able to give you the support you needed - they will be delighted to hear what you have said and I will make sure that I share it with them and the whole team.

Jenny
