"Staff made a very difficult couple of days a little more bearable."

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I wish to sincerely thank all the nurses, students and medics that took care of me when I became unwell following a mental health crisis and self harm. I was treated so efficiently and with care and compassion by everyone I met. The A&E nurses and doctors were so reassuring and really took the time to listen to me. They were so caring and, it was fantastic to see the students especially so enthusiastic.

For being a long way from home, in a health board that I'm not familiar to, was a very scary experience but, your staff at Hairmyres made a very difficult couple of days a little more bearable.
