"Sunday endoscopy"

About: Worcestershire Royal Hospital

My son (21) had an endoscopy today - he received a letter and a telephone call to confirm his appointment.

When he arrived there was no waiting around, the staff were lovely - put him at ease and kept me updated in the waiting area (without being asked).

He received his results before he left.

When people arrive at hospital for this type of procedure they are obviously anxious - to have kind, caring faces and clear communication really helps - over the 2 hours I waited for my son, I watched other patients going in with various members of staff greeting them with a kind, reassuring manner - my sons nurse was brilliant at their job.

Donna, thank you very much for your feedback. We are very pleased that your son was well attended to during your visit and that our staff were all very professional, helpful and reassuring to both you and other patients. I will pass your feedback on to the department manager to share with the team. It will be much appreciated.

Best wishes
