I visited Dermatology due to a form of skin cancer on my nose, excellent experience. Refereed to maxillofacial so procedure could be done without leaving a dent in my nose when removal procedure done, excellent initial consultation with them.
Back for procedure on 4/4/17, consultant/staff said will leave dent in my nose, I advised I was told it could be done using skin flaps so no to leave a dent, I did not want a dent, procedure done left with dent, no skin graph or skin flaps done to prevent a dent being left. Told to keep dressing on for a week. 5/4/17 phoned maxillofacial as dressing was coming off and didn't know if I would have to return to the department to have it redressed or if GP/nurse could do it. Was put through to the nursing by maxillolfacial, asked the nurse the question, they said they will have to check my records after I gave all my details and they will phone me back, Sadly I still haven't received that phone call, not impressed, luckily it was something I managed to sort out. I may seem a trivial point but I was phoning for a genuine reason and not for a laugh or something to do.
"Some excellent some not so good"
