"Visit to Consultant Neurosurgeon - Spinal"

About: Park Hospital

I had an appointment at the BMI yesterday which I was very pleased about, this was arranged by my GP 8 weeks ago, so have been counting the days until my appointment.

I am absolutely appalled that the consultant did not have any information to hand, particularly my MRI results.

If I knew about the appointment for 8 weeks, surely that would give enough time for my details to be looked at prior to the visit?

The consultant clearly had not even looked at anything in the file prior to my visit.

On top of that, I was told to remove my trousers for an examination, was not given anywhere to do so to protect my modesty and not offered a gown either.

I travelled for over an hour to visit the hospital and left absolutely dejected and feeling humiliated.

Disgusted

Hi Ali,

We're really sorry that your recent visit was a painful experience and below expectations. May you please send me your contact details to sine.bakumeni@bmihealthcare.co.uk so that I can get in touch with you directly to discuss further.

Thank you,

Sine
