"I can't thank them enough"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Rheumatology (Joint conditions)

(as the patient),

Had to attend the Day Case Unit, Ashgrove House a week or so ago for treatment. Two nurses, Susan and Robyn looked after me. From the initial meeting until I left, they were very welcoming, friendly and genuine. Through interaction and good explanations, I knew exactly what was happening at all times, and given plenty of time to ask any questions.

Both these nurses were very professional in all aspects of their nursing care, yet at the same time, very caring. They made my short admission better than I thought it would be, I can't thank them enough.

Thank you Susan and Robyn.

Dear Mhh

Thank you so much for your post and for sharing your experience when you attended the Day Case Unit.

I am delighted that Susan and Robyn were professional and caring and looked after you well.

We strive to deliver person centred care to all our patients and to ensure they are involved in decisions relating to their treatment and care.

It is great to hear such stories and I will certainly share this with Robyn and Susan.

With best wishes and thanks again for your post

Fiona Robertson Chief Nurse
