Mary was a patient on Ward 44, Leazes Building, RVI, Newcastle from 22nd March 2017 until her death on 31st March 2017.
I am writing this review on behalf of Mary's close family.
We were overwhelmed by the care, patience, sensitivity and professionalism of all the staff involved with Mary and with us during that time.
We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone on the ward who made this difficult time easier for us.
You made every effort to ensure that Mary was comfortable and as pain-free as possible during that time.
Even though you were obviously busy, with many other patients needing care, you were sensitive to our needs.
You gave your time and patience to ensure that we had privacy when we needed it and went out of your way to provide reassurance and sustenance.
We couldn't have asked for any better care; it was outstanding the way in which you listened to us and gave Mary and us your time and care in spite of the pressures around you.
"Mary, Ward 44, 22.03.17-31.03.17"
