"Total knee replacement"

About: Mcindoe Surgical Centre

I had a TKR in December last year and right from the very beginning you are made to feel welcom and at ease. Everything is explained thoroughly every step of the way. You are seen by the surgeon and aneasthetist before and after the op to answer any questions you might have. The hospital and rooms are very clean, you have your own room en suite tv radio and phone.

There is always plenty of very friendly and helpful staff and nothing is too much trouble for them.

The food is excellent and you get to choose your menu for the same day.. the day of the op you are offered a light meal for when you are able to eat after the op. Everything is presented lovely.

The physio team are excellent too, they make sure you are given plenty of information on exercises and send you home with any equipment you may need to make life easier when you get home.

I had a small problem when I got home (well I thought I had) so I rang the hospital and the doctor rang me back within 10 minutes to put my mind at rest.

All in all this hospital made what could have been a traumatic and worrying time a very pleasant experience so much so I went back to have my 2nd knee done in March without any hesitation. .
