What I liked

I was treated at the Lewes Victoria on the 21st October 2009 as a day surgery patient having suffered a very upsetting and painful miscarriage. Having experienced poor treatment elsewhere I was very nervous about the procedure but as soon as I arrived the staff immediately put me at ease. I was allocated a nurse that looked after me throughout the morning and they were fabulous as were the rest of the team that were involved in my treatment. The consultant and anaesthetist introduced themselves prior to the procedure and came back to see me afterwards ensuring that all of my questions were answered.

The quality of the care I received was second to none. The hospital was spotless and the staff were wonderful.

What could be improved

Nothing - I wouldn't have expected more if had been treated privately.

Thank you to the team that looked after me throughout my treatment, especially to the nicest nurse I've ever met - their cheery approach made a difficult day much much better.
