"Super quick service"

I sliced my finger open on the Easter Sunday and was aware it would probably need stitching. I really did not want to go to Basildon hospital A&E as I knew I'd be there all day so we stopped at a pharmacy store who confirmed I would need stitches but I should go to Orsett Minor Injury Unit and not Basildon A&E.

We arrived at 12:50pm and found the unit almost empty with only one person already being seen. I was called into the treatment room after about 2 minutes of arriving and signing in at reception. I found the nurse to be helpful and friendly. They cleaned the wound and applied adhesive stitches and bandage, and advised what to do over the next week to the wound. We left the hospital at 1:12pm. A total time of 22 minutes from arriving, getting treatment and leaving. Amazing service for a Sunday
