"Sons birth"

From my pre natal care to my delivery ever member of staff I met was professional, friendly, helpful and reassuring. I required extra checks of my sons heart, I was seen quickly and thoroughly with very impressive technology and a consultant came especially to follow me up. The midwife specialist nurses were fantastic as was Dr Shasta and I can not thank them enough for there knowledge and reassurance at a worrying time. At every visit I was seen promptly and informed if there was a wait.

On the day of delivery I telephoned the unit and I was given great advice and again lots of support. I was assessed and all the midwifes involved in my care were amazing! ! This was my third baby and the best experience (my previous had been good ones).

I was treated with dignity and respect every step of the way. Even though it was obviously busy all mine and my husbands wishes were taken care of. I delivered my baby in the water pool with only gas and air and this was due to the skills and help of the midwives.
