"Sons birth"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

From my pre natal care to my delivery ever member of staff I met was professional, friendly, helpful and reassuring. I required extra checks of my sons heart, I was seen quickly and thoroughly with very impressive technology and a consultant came especially to follow me up. The midwife specialist nurses were fantastic as was Dr Shasta and I can not thank them enough for there knowledge and reassurance at a worrying time. At every visit I was seen promptly and informed if there was a wait.

On the day of delivery I telephoned the unit and I was given great advice and again lots of support. I was assessed and all the midwifes involved in my care were amazing! ! This was my third baby and the best experience (my previous had been good ones).

I was treated with dignity and respect every step of the way. Even though it was obviously busy all mine and my husbands wishes were taken care of. I delivered my baby in the water pool with only gas and air and this was due to the skills and help of the midwives. Special thanks to Michelle and Judy the midwives, you made my experience very special! !

Dear Kayelou

What a fantastic review to read, it’s just lovely to know that you had such a great experience throughout your maternity care. I’m especially pleased that you were so well supported by all of the staff involved in your care, and I know they will be both delighted and proud that they had such a positive impact on your experience at such an important time for you.

Thank you also for taking the time to give special thanks to the great doctors and midwives who made your time so special. I’ll be sure to pass on your lovely words to team, who will be so appreciative.

I’d like to end just by saying a big congratulations on the birth of your baby boy, this must just be such an exciting time for you, your husband and all your family.

Take Care

Jessica
