"Ward 70 - worst ward ever"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

My father was sent to this ward from AMU.

The ward is severely understaffed, however the staff they do have are rude and unhelpful.

Waiting forever for a bed pan despite suffering from diarrhoea.

No one to check drips and stats, medication not given.

Equipment lost.

No-one to explain what was happening, made to feel like an inconvenience for asking about wellbeing, possible discharge etc.

Didn't get father out of bed at all in over a week, then said he couldn't go home because he wasn't mobile - he was when he went in!

Suffering from diabetes, was still able to eat unsatisfactory/unhealthy food - why is this?
