"I visited my local primary care ..."

What I liked

I visited my local primary care hospital twice in September once to take a teenage son with an injured eye to the Walk-In Centre. The Triage in the Walk-In Centre was fast & assessment comprehensive. We were given a referral for lthe later in the week and some care suggestions for the very painful eye until that appointment. We were advised to contact them by phone, if the eye worsened , which it did and the suggestion to of straight to Moorfields A&E at 9:00PM was the right one.

Later in the month I went for a routine blood test.

The turn around was very fast if a bit of a production line. But the phlebotomist kindly suggest the little hospital canteen, when I said that it would be good to get breakfast after my fasting blood test. This was very thoughtful, and alhtough rather bijoux the canteen does do a nice breakfast.

If future Polyclinics were base on something like Finchley Memorial then more of the public would welcome them.

What could be improved

Parking space is always tight and the lighting and signposting in those labyrinthine corridors might be improved.

Anything else?

The Minor Injury turnaround is always qucik and the experienced nurses always proritise children and those with the most serious problems
