I had a haemmorrodectomy and from the minute I walked in to the Day Care Unit I was treated very respectfully and kind. The staff were patient and gentle (I had an enema) and listened to my needle phobias (numbed the hands). The surgeons were friendly which put my mind as ease before the sleeping part came. I woke and the nurses who looked after me were very respectful.
The aftercare was good as well considering I bled due to my own stupidity. I kept calling them each week which they nevee seemed to mind. I admit I panic but they have a lovely caring nature about them. It was painful to have my surgery but the staff made my stay a happy one. Its a very nice hospital with friendly receptionist that greet you when you walk in the main entrance and even the canteen and shop staff are very nice as well.
A really nice environment.
"Staff are absolutely lovely!"
