I am still waiting for an operation. I crashed my motorbike 3 years ago, and broke all sorts of bones and damaged a lot of ligaments. After my treatment, I was recovering when I got testicular cancer and had to get chemo. Due to the chemo, my femur never healed properly and now I have to get this repinned.
I found out in January this year I would need this operation, and got my pre-op in February. I still haven't heard a single thing about the op. When I phone to ask they don't tell me anything. My life has been held up for 3 years now.
I haven't been able to work. I've literraly lost over £100. 00 in earnings and had to give up countless things and miss out due to the miney constraints. I asked if the waiting list was long. No response. I asked to be put on a cancellation list. No response. I am due to be a best man on 30th June, and at this rate I'll either be on crutches or not able to do it at all. I should have been back at work by now. Me and my girlfriend can't move forward in life until this is done. I'm absolutely fed up of this now. 3 years and from my experience I've got nowhere at all.
"I feel like Ive got nowhere"
