I tripped on the top stair, on the way up, and flew headlong into a door frame sustaining a 6 inch cut to the top of my head. my wife managed to stem the bleeding and my daughter called 111 for advice. there was a 15 minute waiting time for advice. this was too long so then dialled 999 for an ambulance. The operator asked me several questions and decided to send a car to assess me. The crew, Joe and Jason, were very professional and efficient and to save going to hospital offered to treat me in situ. This I accepted with pleasure. The cut was sealed with several steristrips and iodine pads and even made an appointment for me to attend a local minor injuries unit for redressing as it is Easter weekend and no other places were available.
I would like to commend Joe and Jason for their professionalism, expertise and for going the extra mile to help me. Many thanks Joe and Jason.
"Thanks for going that extra mile"
