It has been many years since I was last in hospital and the experience was appalling.Rude lazy staff,dirty wards and unbeatable food.
What a transformation,efficient,clean ,knowledge staff ,at each stage of treatment I was involved and given plenty of information and was treated with respect.
It would be unfair to single out a single member of the team as they all were very good,however the briefing given to patients on leaving was first class .
What was obvious to me was that the people in ward 408 operated as a team and patients came first
"The NHS at its very best"
