What I liked
the swichboard does not exist so you get passesd from ward to ward on phone if yoo enquire about a patient. patients are kept waiting and doctors do their rounds very sporadicaly completely oblivous to patients anxiety that they have been waiting for ages to see the doctors. Very poor indeed.
What could be improved
Doctors could be on time with their rounds, patients should be kept informed of their conditions and not be given an open ended sentence of how long they are likely to be in hospital, doctors need to be more concientious and aware of patience need and desire to return home and should embbrace this as an essential part of the healing process.
Anything else?
doctors should address these issues and a target should be set for patients return home often this is dependent on the number of empty beds at any time, this should not be the case that the doctors delay patients homegoing as part of the process of keeping the hospital full.
