(as the patient),

I just wanted to feedback my appreciation for the care I received today at the early pregnancy assessment unit.

I attended with bleeding in early pregnancy and sadly waiting on further blood tests to confirm an early miscarriage.

As upsetting as the whole visit was I really want to thank all of the staff that attended myself today. Every person I saw was kind, caring and compassionate.

The sonographer whom I didn't get her name was incredibly gentle and sympathetic during a distressing exam, the lady who assisted her was was also lovely.

I was seen by a midwife Marion and a student midwife Joy who took time with me and comforted my obvious distress.

I await a further visit on Saturday for further blood tests, I had a telephone conversation with a midwife earlier today who again was kind sympathetic, informative and made me feel cared for.

I hope you can pass on my sincere thanks to all involved. It's a difficult time but I appreciate all the care and attention I have received today. Thank you.
