"e referrals is diabolical"

About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary / Endocrinology

On March 8th my GP made a referral to endocrinology Newcastle.

4 weeks later I got a letter from e referrals saying if I didnt get a referral in 6 weeks to call. I called & was given an outpatients appt for Thursday 14th April (tomorrow)

I have had a call from my surgery cancelling it saying it was an inappropriate referral!

AS the department I was referred to was 'endocrinology' and my problem is my 'thyroid' I am at a loss to to understand how it is inappropriate!

I believe it was more to do with the arrogant receptionist on e referral that the Dr in question

E referral is about the worst yet to happen in the NHS.

This is why buying drugs off the internet is increasing. It is the fault of the NHS
