"awful experience"

About: Royal Derby Hospital

Was sent here urgently for suspected appendicities. I had numerous blood tests, X-rays and ultra sounds before being admitted to a ward. I stayed overnight. The following day I was not told any results of my tests and was moved upstairs without being told why. I never saw a doctor only nurses. After moving wards nobody knew if I could eat or drink so I had nothing (turns out I could!!) that evening I asked what was happening, a nurse said the xray looked like it showed gall stones but need a doctor to confirm. I again saw no doctor. The following day A nurse came too take more bloods but wouldn't tell me why. I finally saw a doctor that evening who said I would be staying over again any questions. The doctor gave no information until I asked what was happening. I stopped a third night to be told in the morning I could go home.

Im leaving feeling none the wiser as to what is happening, what I should be doing or anything. I work for the NHS and would not praise the doctor involved. The nurses were lovely, other doctors saw patients frequently. I feel like i was lost in the system a bit here.
