"Thank you to the general medical secretary"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

(as the patient),

I came into the Heartlands A&E department after having an epileptic seizure if I had been at home I would have gone to the Queen Elizabeth hospital. As I am now unable to drive I asked to be transferred to the Q. E. for any follow up appointments.

My GP. received my discharge letter from Heartlands but the QE had no information on my case. I was put through to Katie, Dr Shaker's general medical secretary, who has dealt with me in a friendly and efficient manner.

When she said she would call me back she did and she got everything sorted out. She gave me reassurance at a worrying time and I hope you will pass on my thanks to her for all her help.
