Hi,
I visited the RVI leazes wing ward 45 for a hernia repair procedure on 6th April 2017.
I would just like to comment on my visit, the nurses were lovely, the anesthetist, the surgeon were very professional, treated me withe respect and dignity, I was very worried about the Anesthetic as I have slight atrial fibrillation but the Anesthetist put my mind at rest as soon as I met them, I felt in very safe hands from being admitted to being discharged and I am pleased to say the procedure appears to have been a success, I was pleased to have it finally done after 2 years 4 months (not the R.V.Is fault. the nurses on wards 45 &45a were very polite, well mannered, courteous and above all pleasant and made my brief stay very enjoyable overall I would recommend this Hospital to anybody who requires procedures, the food I was served was above and beyond what I expected from a hospital.
Being admitted into a Hospital can be a very traumatic experience but I was put at ease the moment I was admitted, well done to everybody and a big thank you.
