Please find below a copy of an e-mail sent to the programme this evening. (30-09-2009)

I was treated at Eccleshill Centre in 2009.

My experience was impressive; staff were NOT standing around chatting (unlike my past 50 year experiences at NHS Casualties ), all of the building that I saw was clean, staff were attentive,checks were made on my heart prior to my procedure.

This was in stark contrast to my sons treatment at LGI in Sept 2007. He was sent home with an undiagnosed fractured skull; readmitted 24 hours later to have his head x-rayed for the first time.

He was then placed on an observation ward where staff cleaned the underside metal work of beds with antibacterial wipes but then placed a blood stained blanket on top of him.
