About: Royal Surrey County Hospital / Accident and emergency

Had nasty gash and head injury. All staff very polite and friendly. They could have stitched me up in quite a rough and ready way but wanted to lessen the impact of the scar even though I am quite aged and no oil painting. Very struck by dedication of young doctor in minor A & E who was so polite and DID not talk down to me which was a first and much appreciated. Very impressed by lovely member of staff from max fac who was on a shift of 30 hours who was so caring and humorous. I was very humbled by the experience. We are so blessed to have the NHS and its staff.
