"I would like to be independent"

I see both the Muslim and Christian chaplain. I find that although the chaplaincy service is good, there has been some discrimination on the ward by other patients about my religious beliefs.

The care is mixed in quality.

I would love to be a pro musician and love to play music live. I find it hard in here as we have a regimented day and are looked after a lot. I’m an adult and would like to be more independent.

I know that although I could watch TV all day, I need to act and live in a way so that I’m able to leave.

I also love to write: whether it be filling out forms or different creative writing styles. It is my way of having fun and it takes my mind off things whilst building up my skills.
