"Would definitely go private again and return to..."

I attended Bishops Wood in March of 2017 for Cosmetic Surgery with a private surgeon. I arrived a little earlier than my admission time and checked in with reception which is where I had to fill out a few forms etc which took no longer than 3 minutes as they had everything organised and ready for me. I had two family members with me and we were all treated exactly the same and really well. I was taken up to my allocated room earlier than expected which was wonderful, I was shown around the room by a member of staff and made aware of all the facilities I had access to including shower etc (which by the way, is wonderful!) The room was so lovely, not huge but just the right size it was most certainly not too small. From the minute we arrived into the room my bloods and blood pressure was taken, this was done on a regular basis every half an hour or so which I thought was fab. I unfortunately didn't manage to get everybody's name but everyone was fantastic from start to finish. One member of staff in particular was magnificent...they talked through the whole process of surgery and recovery for me and reassured me that it was a wise choice I was making. They kept reminding me to make the experience as best as I can as I am only 19 and have paid £5,000+ for the procedure, they told me to make the most of my stay and really get what I paid for, they made me feel so comfortable- every member of staff did from start to finish. I was told to order as much food as I wanted and as frequently as I wanted to- I almost wished I could have had more of an appetite following surgery (lol!) Reception were great with ordering taxi's and making us aware of accommodation nearby as we are not local. I did leave a review before I left but I am still amazed at the great treatment I had and cannot help but just wanting to thank you all so very much. I have never had private treatment nor attended a private hospital, I was extremely skeptical and had no idea of what to expect. I thought I would have been stuck in a really old and tiny outdated hospital of which I was so very surprised once I arrived, it was the complete opposite. Staff are amazing, bedside manner 10/10 I would most definitely 100% return to this hospital and will not hesitate to do so should I ever need too. Thank you all for providing such great service! I am very grateful. Also thank you to the anaesthetist as they were very kind too. I have known of others go through the same procedure as myself only to be prescribed paracetamol afterwards, I was prescribed with many different pain medications which I believe helped a lot with recovery. I was feeling great 3 days after and back to normal 1 week post-op. Thank you all! Keep up the great work! Xx
