"A big thank you to all on Pememberton ward"

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary / Accident and emergency

A really big thank you to all the doctors , nurse , domestic staff and the staff with the food trolley... For looking after my mum so well .

My mum is suffering from stage four terminal cancer , and was really ill and dehydrated off the chemo she has been receiving at Christy’s hospital , she had not been able to eat properly for almost two weeks. Her condition was very weak, and poorly .

The doctors on Pemeberton ward got a couple of blood transfusions into my mum, lots of vitamins, and some really nice Soups to encourage her to try food again. The care and kindness from all the staff was wonderful, and the ward was spotless, with the domestic group endlessly cleaning and controlling the hygiene for everyone concerned..

Thank you for your positive feedback in respect of your mother’s attendance to our hospital. It is always appreciated when we can share the recognition of good practice for our patients and their families. Your posting highlights the team’s holistic approach to care, treatment and communication which is so important. I will be sure to pass on your comments to all staff involved in your mother’s care. Once again, thank you for your positive feedback.

With best wishes to you and your family.
