My 92 year old Mother was admitted to Southend A&E on the 20th August 2016.
We were told it was an end of life situation so we expected the worst.
My Mother rallied round and we were told by the Hospital they needed to do whatever was possible to help her recovery.
The consultant, the registrar and all the staff at the Kitty Hubbard Ward were exceptional.
They did everything in their power to aid her, even the tea person was party to her recovery.
The NHS comes under a lot of flack these days but without their dedication and hard work,
We would be in a sorry state.
My Mother was released from Southend Hospital but unfortunately died on the 27th of August 2016.
Apologies for the lateness of this review but, on behalf of myself and my family, I would like to thank all the staff of the Kitty Hubbard Ward for the kindness they showed to my Mother and to ourselves through this traumatic experience.
Kind Regards
"Excellent Team"
