"I was admitted at WGH as an ambulance patient."

About: Watford General Hospital / Respiratory medicine

I was admitted at WGH as an ambulance patient. I am asthmatic and coming back from my travels in India, I suffered a bad chest infection. I was placed in an isolation unit and kept for 4 days.

I wish to commend everyone who was instrumental with my stay and treatment. I met a particular doctor when I was in isolation and I found them a breath of fresh air, very friendly and approachable. They assured me that I may not have COPD and put me on antibiotics for treatment after I leave the unit. I think they are quite knowledgeable and they said that they will see me in their outpatient to sort out my asthma and to find out whether I really have COPD as I have been a non smoker all my life.
