I'm quite new to Taunton and Musgrove hospital. Today at Musgrove Day Surgery I had the Baha hearing device implanted into my head. Small operation but I am writing this as something strange happened today whilst I was admitted: I enjoyed my day there. Can you believe I said that.
The building was lovely, bright and clean. Plenty of room and the atmosphere was so calming. I felt relaxed as soon as I entered the building. The staff (and there were quite a few) were all super nice and accommodating. Each and every single one. The staff on the front desk, the staff who made the beds, the staff who confirmed your details and explained the plan of action (had a plaster over her tatoo on wrist) and The surgery staff were most friendly and kind, the male who transported beds and perhaps did linen was always busy.
The lady with the duck bandanna had a kind and calming influence in the prep and recovery room. So refreshing to see how all the staff were one big team and never really stopped working. The service was exceptional today and I actually had a lovely relaxing day away from the house work and a loud 2yr old gorgeous child. It made a lovely change from my previous hospital experiences.
You provided me with an exceptional service today and I very much appreciate it. Please pass on my gratitude.
Thank You.
